All CléA training services start with a prior assessment of prior learning, and this is to encourage individualised and modularised pathways for each person.
This assessment is also offered to anyone wishing to have their acquired skills recognised, outside of any training project.
The prior assessment of prior learning (EP):
This assessment, lasting a maximum of 6 hours, can lead to validation of the 7 CléA domains. The candidate's CléA career then comes to an end at this stage: his or her file is presented to the certification panel. The PE is made up of 4 phases:
The reception (explanation of the assessment process, presentation of the portfolio of evidence/recognition of prior learning)
The individual interview(identification with the candidate of skills, knowledge, experience in relation to the CléA reference framework, valorisation des acquis
The final assessment (FE):
After a course of training or additional experience, the CléA candidate may choose to take a final assessment and this in order to validate the skills not acquired during the PE. A period of 5 years is allowed between the prior assessment and the final assessment of prior learning.
The proposed assessment approach targets three modalities that can be combined to validate a skill:
-Describe: the person describes the skill they can implement
-Find : the person provides evidence of mastery of the skill (a certification, an accreditation, a certificate of training achievement)
-Act: the person implements the skill in a situation.
Also, the assessment process is based on:
- interviews, guided by the assessor, during which the person relates and analyses their experience and/or skills in relation to their project,
- situational exercises, observed by the assessor, during which the person exercises their skills
Two documents are used to monitor the completion of the process:
-the evidence file drawn up by the candidate
-the assessment tracking table filled in by the assessor put online on the tracking platform.
